Assumption Iloilo (AI) secured a well-earned victory in the High School Volleyball Girls division over Iloilo Scholastic Academy (ISA) on November 30, 2025, at John B. Lacson Maritime University (JBMLU), rallying after a slow start to claim the match 2–1.

ISA came out strong in the opening set, showcasing sharp serves and quick offensive execution that caught AI off balance. Their consistency and early momentum allowed them to capture the first set.

Assumption Iloilo, however, responded with renewed focus. In the second set, AI tightened its floor defense. Their adjustments paid off as they evened the match at one set apiece.

Riding that momentum, AI entered the deciding set with confidence. Strong communication, steady serving, and disciplined blocking helped them control the pace. Despite ISA’s efforts to rally, Assumption maintained its edge and closed out the set, securing the victory.
